AGC Welcomes Dr’s Robert Gianotti and Matthew Warndorf to our Practice

Dr’s Robert Gianotti and Matthew Warndorf join AGC as our newest Physicians. 

Dr. Gianotti attended medical School at Cornell University, did his Residency at NYU School of Internal Medicine, and was Fellowship trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. 

Dr. Warndorf attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University, did his Residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, was Fellowship trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and was Advanced Fellowship trained at Maine Medical Center


POEM Procedure for Swallowing Disorders

Albany Gastroenterology is the first practice in upstate NY to perform Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM). We are currently part of a multi-center clinical trial and are actively enrolling patients. We are the only center in the region performing POEM for Achalasia.

Patients can ask their provider for referral for swallowing related disorders including Achalasia.
