Throughout the year, the physicians and staff here at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants hold employee-driven fundraisers in order to donate to organizations that are near and dear to our hearts. Through events such as tag sales, 50/50 raffles and a “Jeans Day” where employees donate for the privilege of wearing their favorite denim to work, AGC has raised thousands of dollars that we have passed along to organizations that are invested in progressing digestive research and health.
Most recently, we’re proud to let you know that our fundraising efforts culminated in a generous donation to the Lustgarten Foundation, the world’s preeminent pancreatic cancer researcher. The Lustgarten Foundations’s mission is to fund clinical research on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of pancreatic cancer, provide research information and support to patients, caregivers and those and high risk, and increase public awareness of the disease.
