Danielle Napieralski, PA

Danielle joined Albany Gastroenterology Consultants in 2020 after graduating from Albany Medical College with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and subsequently received her physician assistant certification through the National Commission on Physician Assistants in 2020. During PA school, she fell in love working with GI patients throughout many of her clinical rotations. Prior to PA school, Danielle graduated from Liberty University in Virginia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science while also acquiring her Health and Fitness Specialist certification through the American College of Sport Medicine. Part of Danielle’s clinical experience prior to PA school has included working with patients undergoing ileostomy and colostomy procedures, which included educating and empowering patients through the emotional, mental, and physical challenges as well as rewards that patients go through when getting these procedures. She also has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease and is a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Other professional memberships she obtains are through the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. Danielle’s goal as a PA is to combine empathy with intelligence in caring for patients as well as helping patients achieve a quality of life.

Not only is Danielle passionate in staying up to date with the evolving field of gastroenterology, she is passionate in helping patients understand food is medicine and physical activity as well as mental health play major roles in gut health. When she is not digesting gastroenterology, she enjoys anything outdoors including aspiring to become an Adirondack 46er or chasing squirrels with her 3-legged pup.
