Carolanne Rosenthal graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Criminal Justice. After working in research for several years, she sought a career change and completed her associate’s degree in Nursing from Hudson Valley Community College followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Excelsior College. She then completed her Nurse Practitioner degree from Russel Sage College and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to completing her degree, she worked as an RN at St. Peter’s hospital.  After her father was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013, she began working in the endoscopy unit where gastroenterology became her passion. She sought out a national certification through the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses. Her current role is acute gastroenterology based at St. Peter’s Hospital.
