Dr. Qing He

Dr. Qing He is an attending physician board-certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine with over 20 years of experience. Dr. He received an MS from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health’s Institute of Human Nutrition and an MD from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China. Subsequently, he completed his internship, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons – St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital (now Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West Hospitals), as well as a hepatology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Before joining Albany Gastroenterology Consultants, Dr. He previously worked as an attending physician throughout the tri-state area at hospitals including Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY, and more. He has maintained memberships in the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and frequently refreshes his GI expertise by participating in continuing medical education conferences throughout the nation. In practice, Dr. He sees a wide variety of patients, speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese fluently.

Dr. He currently resides in Albany, NY. Besides practicing medicine, he enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time with his family.
