Dr. Sean J. Sheehan has been with Albany Gastroenterology Consultants for more than a decade. Dr. Sheehan studied biology at Boston College and attended graduate school at Albany Medical College. He attended the State University of New York at Syracuse College of Medicine and then went on to Yale-New Haven Hospital Department of Medicine, where he completed his internship and residency. Dr. Sheehan was also a fellow at the Yale School of Medicine Section of Digestive Diseases, Department of Medicine.

Dr. Sheehan’s professional memberships include the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, the Medical Society State of New York, and the Albany County Medical Society.
